I came across your lj through a post you made in a community with a journal set. So I started reading your profile. We have a LOT in common. Not so much as in interests, even though there is a lot there too, but the list you wrote on your profile, I smiled at a lot of it because it reminds me of well me. Haha. I was going to ask if you were at Cracker Barrel with a "Dude, Run!" shirt. But then I realize the fandom base is a lot bigger than I'd imagined. I suppose I'm just unused to running into a lot of people who share the same interest.
That being said, I think it's interesting. We share a lot of similar likes and dislikes. But then we also have views we are opposites on. Which, of course, only makes things more intriguing. I would be interested in reading your works, your views and so on. Though I, in return, have nothing to bring to the table upfront.
And, in case you were wondering, I saw you post in...mp3_share I believe. And your icon totally caught me off guard, haha.
Also, I won't +friend you unless you go ahead. I'd feel bad for imposing right from the start. And should you not want to friend me, well, then I'd rather let it be without anything lingering, you know? :]
